Volunteer

Volunteers are the fundamental strength of New Beginnings. We are always looking for people with a desire to provide support services to survivors or help with other aspects of our organization.

Volunteers are needed for the following:

  • 24-hour Crisis Line Coverage
  • Accompaniment to hospitals, police stations, and courtrooms
  • Crisis Counseling
  • Community Education Programs
  • General Office Help
  • Fundraisers and Special Events
  • Board Members (You can find the Board Member application here)

Volunteers must be 18 years or older. We require all volunteers to complete a comprehensive training course before starting their volunteer service. There are occasionally additional courses volunteers may have to complete to maintain qualified volunteer status. New Beginnings will provide all necessary training free of charge.

We also look to volunteers to help with advocacy packets, Laundry of Love kits, education programs, and public relations.

If you are interested in volunteering with New Beginnings – please complete the form below to the best of your ability. Once we receive your completed application, our Community Engagement Coordinator will reach out to schedule an interview. Thank you!
