Stories Stage and Strength: Anthony Rapp in Conversation

This fall, join us for an evening in conversation with Anthony Rapp, the acclaimed Broadway performer best known for originating the role of Mark Cohen in Rent.

The event will feature a moderated conversation with Chad Benefield of WBKR, exploring Rapp’s career, his personal journey as a survivor, and his ongoing advocacy work. Rapp will share reflections on Rent and its cultural impact, his contributions to LGBTQ+ and HIV/AIDS awareness, his role on Star Trek: Discovery, and his work with Friends In Deed, an organization supporting families facing life-threatening illnesses.

Saturday, September 26, at the Empress Theatre at Theatre Workshop, community members are invited to attend this free public event.

We extend our sincere gratitude to our sponsors—Independence Bank, Marilyn and William Young Charitable Foundation, and RiverValley Behavioral Health—whose generous support makes it possible to offer this meaningful event at no cost to the community.
