Secondary Survivor Support Group

We welcome you to join us in a safe, confidential, space to learn, grow, and cope with the trauma of knowing that a loved one has been sexually victimized. This group is best suited for non-offending family members, caretakers, and close friends of victims of sexual abuse.

Well, then you’re in luck because New Beginnings is searching for another dynamic and dedicated Clinical Therapist to join us in our mission to elevate, educate, empower, and transform our community to heal from the impact of sexual harm.  

Must be certified or licensed to practice a mental health discipline under the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky with a minimum of 1-year counseling or clinical experience: CSW, LCSW, LPCC, LPCA, LMFT, or LMFTA.

‘Play it Safe’ offers vital education to prevent abuse

The Owensboro Messenger-Inquirer published another great story about New Beginnings today. This time they featured Prevention Educator, Crystal Wall, and her program Play It Safe! Check it out!

‘Trauma Affects the Whole Family’ — local organizations help families cope with abuse

There is a tremendous article in The Owensboro Messenger-Inquirer today about the educational series New Beginnings Group Coordinator, Briana Willoughby, is hosting in partnership with The Children’s Advocacy Center of Green River District. Check it out!
